The Pits

We ventured out to the La Brea Tar Pits before Storm Watch 2010.
The tar pits are more like tar bubbles in sewer water.
But the museum was definitely more like it.
It holds all the bones every found in the pits.
And for some odd reason I find bones to be extremely fascinating.
To know they once were part of a living body and that there are people that can actually put these bodies back together!  Blows my mind.

My favorite part was this huge wall covered with wolf skulls lit up by an orange light.
It was amazing!
(You can see a small photo of it above in the collage)
It was so cool.

You should go. If not for the pits - for the wolf wall.

I use Picasa on my PC.
It's part of Google and you can post your pictures to your blog directly from it. It's very fun. You'll like it.
