I've started doing yoga again faithfully. Four times a week, and I already feel so much better. Mostly all night classes, which I love so much. I sleep a lot better and it helps quiet my mind. Because my mind lately...has been running marathons.
It's amazing how yoga can do that!
Last night I was explaining "shavasana" to Kyle.
How amazing it feels to just lay.
Quiet and still.
Refocusing your mind & body.
It's my favorite part of yoga.
And I always feel healed in a sense after I leave class. Or like I just got a really intense massage.
My instructor last night was this really awesome old hippy with red hair. And during shavasana, she had us picture this ball of light traveling over each part of our bodies, releasing all the tension and bad energy. I have such a soft spot for hippies!
I felt so relaxed after and appreciated being there in that moment.
I think the girl next to me felt the same way.
Because when I looked over she was snoring... haha!
I totally felt like doing the same thing!
