Good Things
I've started doing yoga again faithfully. Four times a week, and I already feel so much better. Mostly all night classes, which I love so much. I sleep a lot better and it helps quiet my mind. Because my mind lately...has been running marathons.
It's amazing how yoga can do that!
Last night I was explaining "shavasana" to Kyle.
How amazing it feels to just lay.
Quiet and still.
Refocusing your mind & body.
It's my favorite part of yoga.
And I always feel healed in a sense after I leave class. Or like I just got a really intense massage.
It's amazing.
My instructor last night was this really awesome old hippy with red hair. And during shavasana, she had us picture this ball of light traveling over each part of our bodies, releasing all the tension and bad energy. I have such a soft spot for hippies!
I felt so relaxed after and appreciated being there in that moment.
I think the girl next to me felt the same way.
Because when I looked over she was snoring... haha!
I totally felt like doing the same thing!

I also have been doing yoga for the past few weeks, about 3-4 times a week and I couldn't agree more. I had always practiced it, but very sporadically (maybe 1x a week, every other week at most), so this is so different for me. I've never felt better and I just want to tell you I SO feel this post, and love that we are doing the same thing. If only we could attend class together! <3
